Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Freelancify ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Definitions

  • "Client" means a user who posts projects and hires freelancers.
  • "Freelancer" means a user who bids on and completes projects.
  • "Project" means work posted by a Client on the Platform.
  • "Service Fee" means the fee charged by Freelancify for use of the Platform.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information and keep it updated. You may not create multiple accounts or impersonate others.

4. Project Listings and Bids

  • Clients must provide accurate project descriptions and budgets.
  • Freelancers may bid only on projects they can complete.
  • Freelancify does not guarantee project completion or payment.
  • All financial transactions are processed through third-party payment processors.

5. Payments and Fees

Freelancify charges a service fee on transactions. Fees are displayed at the time of payment. All payments are held in escrow until project completion or milestone approval.

6. Dispute Resolution

Users may raise disputes through the Platform. Freelancify may mediate but is not liable for outcomes. Users agree to resolve disputes in good faith.

7. Prohibited Activities

  • Posting illegal or fraudulent projects.
  • Sharing false or misleading information.
  • Harassing or threatening other users.
  • Attempting to bypass Platform fees or security measures.
  • Using the Platform for money laundering or any illegal activity.

8. Intellectual Property

Users retain ownership of their content. By posting on the Platform, you grant Freelancify a license to display and distribute your content. Project deliverables ownership is transferred upon full payment.

9. Limitation of Liability

Freelancify is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for damages arising from use of the Platform, including lost profits or data. Our total liability is limited to the fees paid in the last 12 months.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Users may delete their accounts at any time. Outstanding obligations survive termination.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of material changes via email or Platform notice.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Freelancify operates. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
